Sex is in the Mind. Reading is in the Mind. What a perfect marriage.
This is a place for me to explore myself, explore and practice writing, and hopefully excite you, entertain you, and expand your horizons. I write what interests and excites me, and what I think might interest and excite you. What I feel and gain from my writing may be very different than what you feel and gain from it - and that's fantastic and wonderful. A mark of good writing is that different people can find different things in it. It means the writing is rich and deep enough that it resonates with people of different backgrounds and different paths, and each reader has both a unique experience and an experience shared with other readers.
And though this is supposed to be a biography, I don't want to talk about myself. I don't want my stories to be about me; the author. I want them to be about the stories themselves, and the experiences you get from them. I don't want me on your mind when you're reading them, because I'm not the story. I only want the environment and the characters of the story in your thoughts. And potentially - if I've done my job right - I want you to see yourself in the story. I want you, for a short time, to be somewhere else other than your or my life. Because Reading, like Sex, is in the mind - Your Mind.
