Retired business owner / husband / father of two university graduates, who always asked me to proofread their essays, papers, etc. Enjoy proofreading / editing, and do not like it when misspellings take away from the story I am reading. I do not change content or structure, unless it is really necessary; just like to make it so that picky spellers like myself enjoy the story to its utmost. Oh, and I like having more commas, rather than fewer, as it makes the reading flow much better. Have come to learn the difference between editing and proofreading, and am more of a proofreader; but can do both. I am just tired of reading a good story, until . . . "you come home to you're family, their they're fucking there mother’s best friend; and your wondering why she didn’t invite you two help with your too kids, to"; instead of: "you come home to your family, they’re there fucking their mother’s best friend; and you’re wondering why she didn’t invite you to help with your two kids, too."
