What are your audio encoding specs for audio creators?

Literotica audio encoding specifications are updated regularly as technology, browser usage, and internet standards evolve.

We accept uploads of M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV, and other popular audio files formats. All files are encoded by our system for playback optimization.

As of August 2022, we encode audio with the following specifications:

• File Format: M4A
• Bitrate: 128 kbps
• Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz
• Bit Depth: 32-bit
• Codec: AAC-LC

The minimum length for audio published on Literotica is one minute. There is no maximum length beyond the file size limitations (see below).

We currently limit file upload size to 256MB. If you have a special need to upload a larger file, or you are not able to shrink your audio file down below that limit, please Contact Support for additional help.
