How do I change my Literotica avatar picture?

In addition to a Literotica username, Lit members are recognizable by their Avatar photo/artwork. Avatars are small images that appear next to your username on your profile, in published works, comments, chat, and other places around the Literotica community. Your avatar is part of your personal identity in the Literotica Community.

You can add or change your Literotica avatar image by going to: User Menu > Control Panel > Options > My Profile

Once you are on the My Profile page, you will see your Avatar image near your username. Click on (or touch) the Avatar image to upload a new one. Once you’ve uploaded a new Avatar, it must be reviewed before becoming public. It may take up to 24 hours before other users can see your new Avatar.

Avatar Content Guidelines

To keep the community safe for everyone, you may not upload any Avatars including hardcore sexual acts, photos you do not own the copyright to, photos of any recognizable individuals without their explicit consent to use the images, or images depicting individuals under the age of 18. We also do not allow spam, politics, religion, or any other content prohibited in our Publishing Guidelines to be used in Avatars. Using Avatar images to impersonate or harass another user, or anyone else, is strictly prohibited as well. If you believe another user is violating our avatar policies, please report the user to us (by visiting their Member Profile and using the “Report” feature) so that we can investigate.

Avatar Examples and Suggestions

You might also consider posting a thread in the Literotica Author Support Forum to ask other Authors how they choose their Avatars.
