with your two colored eyes,
your sweet cheek dimple,
and your simple joy.
I watch you and dream-
you will have all that I don't
courage
love
happiness
strength.
can I find those things
as I hold you,
rock you to sleep,
sing you lullabies?
Is there some of you in me,
some of what you may be
hidden in the depths of me?

Wanton Vixxxenabout 19 years agoof each of My four daughters when I held them for the first time and asked Myself those same questions. Your phrase, "Is there some of you in me?" is a question that will be answered "yes" many times over - as you grow with your daughter in life. And one day you'll find as I have, that she has raised you very well. <wink>
