I wonder if I'll always think of you a thousand times a day
And wish that I could turn back time and do things a different way.
I wonder every time we talk if it will be the last
And this will be the time you put me firmly in your past.

I wonder if Drops of Jupiter will ever be just another song
And if I'll ever choke back tears enough to sing along.
I wonder if your voice will always sizzle in my heart
I wonder if I'll always miss you as I have right from the start.

I wonder if your laughter will always echo in my bones
And if your soul and spirit will always be my home.
I am in wonder at your humor, your honor and good grace
I wonder when I close my eyes if I'll always see your face.

I wonder if I'll always reach for you when I see you in my dreams
So near and yet so far away, standing in the sunlight's beams.
Sometimes you smile as if to tell me everything's alright
Your eyes twin stars that see the truth and caress me with their light.

No longer trapped in fantasy, I accept the truth of now...and then
And wonder if my heart will always beat to the rhythm of remember when.
I wish you love and laughter and an open road to following your bliss
And when you feel a breeze in the stillness, I wonder if you'll know it's just my errant kiss.
