I feel so little in your arms
surrounded in your warmth
the ritual of peace
in out own little microcosm
ignoring the outside
out world gently spinning
We lay entwined here
the sun spreading warm breath
through the window curtain

little space between us
acting like a vacuum
pulling our skin closer
until the dark chasm is gone
and we are stuck
joined at the abdomen
eyes wide with wonder
the innocence of an open mouth
caressing the body with sight alone

drunk with your touch
