She was myth and legend
trapped upon her rocky grave.
All she had was her voice
calling out into vast emptiness.
Her song was known to distract
to drive all that heard it mad with Desire.
Those that came too close
dashed themselves on jagged fissures.
So, Siren sat alone in the storms
the rage of her own desires.
It was not destruction she sought
her desperate cry was to be known.

The ship of the Wild Heart came
lingering along the shores as she sang.
Fear of the fissures filled the Heart
and it turned away to leave.
One breath, one moment, one cry
over the waves . . . I love you!
The Wild Heart dared the death crash
her body found in the tidal surf.
The Siren gave up her song forever
using her last breath to fan a Flame.
Together they laid huddled on that beach
the Wild Heart and the silent Siren.

Obviously a wild romantic mix of mythology and adventure...underneath a heart-warming story of two souls combined.
