"Rolley, hope Karen's special style of marriage counseling worked for you and Grace. Oh, you be sure to take the two of them to the Flyers' game. She'll love it. Everybody goes there for the fights!"

Epilogue

All went smoothly despite Karen's efforts to derail the divorce, and baring that, trying to get half of the assets. Wifey wheedled and pleaded, but our contract held. I was rid of her on my terms. I did wonder what I would have done had she gone on the straight and narrow. Would I have stayed married? If ifs and ands were pots and pans, there'd be no need for tinker's hands.

Roland and Grace split up. Karen tried to get transferred to Wilmington so they could live together. Last I heard, they split up and Karen was living in Tulsa. Good riddance.

Not your best. Too many silly asides and too much banter. It's tempting to show how smart you are by giving us informational morsels, but it looks pretentious and slows down the story. If someone is dumb enough to think Mutha T'reesa (New Jersey speak) was born in Peoria after your well-crafted, obtuse reference, let them live in ignorance. If they miss that, the story is wasted on them. Your hero and mine, Elmore Leonard, once stated that when injecting humor or mirth into writing commentary, "Never feed them a punchline when you told them where to look."

What a long and boring story. Husband is a stupid stupid weakling who deserves every crapp his wife threw at him. Siriosly who talks like that? I just wonder his wife didn't cheat on him sooner. Awful dialogs. Poor writing.

Bit too clinical. Lot of dialog that while well written, hard to believe anyone talks like that in real life with their spouse.
