Welcome to the 2021 Literotica Reader's Choice Award Nominations, celebrating the amazing work Literotica authors created in 2021!
In this round, you will have the chance to nominate your favorites in eight special categories. At the end of the nomination period, we will close down the nominations and whittle them down to the top five nominees in each category. These will then join the Literotica category nominees in the final voting round (as explained at the end of this message).
Please take the time to make a nomination in each category below. You have until March 31st to make a selection, so you feel free to go back and reread your favorites. Thanks, and have fun!!

Please note: in all categories, author self-nominations (author nominating their own work or body of work, either via their own account or known aliases - only one vote per person, so if you have multiple pennames only one will count) are allowed, but will be worth one half (0.5) a regular nomination, and will be discarded in the case of a tie vote.

After the nominees for these categories are chosen, they will join a list of nominees in each story category on Literotica. The story nominations in each story category are chosen thusly: we took the top voted story in each category from each month, ending with a total of 12 possible works in each category. (These are being tallied right now, and will be finished in time for the full voting.) From those, we whittle it down to the top five stories with the highest vote score. The category nominees will join the above special categories in the final voting to take place in March.
Nominations in the above special categories will be closed on March 31st. We will tally the results, then post the finalists along with the category nominations for final voting. Good luck and Happy Reading, everyone!

Dutchboy51about 2 years agoRe Tempest_Wolfsong Yeah, audio is like the idiot bastard son in the closet. On one hand, it's good that people are reading. On the other hand some folks get tired eyes and listening might be easier at the end of the day. I intend to propose a contest for authors who would like to read one of their works from other categories.

Dutchboy51about 2 years agoRe Anonymous on "Loving Wives" Don't remain anonymous. Adopt the handle "Robin Hood" because you split the arrow here. Most of my stories appear under Mind Control, but I submitted "The Lovers Choice" to Loving Wives and folks came after me like the villagers chasing Frankenstein's monster. Why? because the story is about a loving couple who introduce bondage to their love-making to spice things up. No cucks, no cheating, just a wife who actually loves her husband enough to try something new, in short, a"Loving Wife." Recently I submitted a second chapter in Loving Wives with the same result, pitchforks and torches.
This problem needs fixin' Just set up a category for infidelity and make one for actual loving couples. Can it be that hard? Take a look at the mean story rating (not that it really matters) for Loving Wives. If these aren't the lowest rated stories on the site, I will be flabbergasted. It has nothing to do with the actual quality of the writing. The reason for this is simple; the category is composed of two camps at war with each other. I've got a few dozen stories on Literotica and, on the average I get mid-4's. On L.W. I got a "1" because I had submitted to the "wrong category" like it was a high school business class and Mrs. Grinch wanted to make a point with a big, red "F." What crust! Partition it! Partition "Loving Wives" before gunfire breaks out!
Anonymousabout 2 years agoI’m hoping that this contest is fair. Because I get so fed up with stories that are supposed to be loving wife stories but when you break the story down it’s got nothing to do with the loving wife category. If it was me I would only have the BTB stories or stories that only involves a husband and wife theme nothing else. No cuckold theme stories or sharing stories or swinging stories they are not true loving wife stories. But let me guess the competition has been “fixed “ let me guess a cuckold story or a sharing story wins what a surprise for us . I do apologise for this rant but it’s about time these cuckold/ swinging /sharing stories should have there own category. Everyone gets fed up with these writers that keep writing these cuckold/swinging/sharing stories they bring the loving wife category a bad reputation like it’s a trash can . The loving wife category is better than this but with these stories they make the category look a feel pointless. When you read stories like saddletramp1956 stories and hooked stories and papatoad stories etc . They make you feel like you can’t put the story down and come on the reviews they get are normally high. But so sorry for my rant but it’s just for a category that is supposed to be highly important to this site. These cuckold/swinging/sharing stories just make it look pathetic so sorry yet again I never had to rant like this before but there are some up and coming great writers out there and they are being pushed out because of others who can’t get there stories in the correct category. So please I am so so sorry for having to write like this but it’s is about time this site gave the writers that like to write Cuckold/ Sharing/swinging stories there own category and leave the loving wife category alone.
Anonymousabout 2 years agoI read the comment by Tempest_Wolfsong. I hope every creative person whether on this site or anywhere is shown the respect that they deserve. As a lifelong reader I love a good tale and revere a good writer. I personally am old school I guess - I do text but don't email, facebook or audiobook. Please, in my case it is nothing personal and know that I'm a dinosaur. I do hope that your well written appeal will help get you and others the attention that you deserve. Good luck!
