I have been a crossdresser for a long time. I call myself ‘Sarah’ when I’m dressed as a girl. She has been a part of me for over twenty years. I can’t even remember the last time I wore only male clothes. I don’t, even own any mens underwear or jeans. Some of my earliest memories involve some form of dressing in girls clothes.

I started dressing as Sarah in secret, just frilly panties at home and then panties under my jeans to work. The first few times, it felt like my jeans were transparent and everyone could see my panties but I got used to it. Now, I sometimes forget what I have on until I come to undress in public, at the gym for example. This forgetfulness has led to some fun experiences.

One night, I finally stepped out fully dressed as a girl. I found that it was easier when it was raining, I could use an umbrella to hide my face. I loved crossing in front of traffic knowing that they thought I was a girl. Then, I progressed to going to bars and restaurants dressed. Now, I take the train into the city, walk around all day, shop, eat out and do anything I feel like while dressed as Sarah.

When I am Sarah, I wear dangly earrings, carry a purse, dress fully as a girl, wear a white padded jacket and use makeup but I do not even try to pass. I am happy being a guy dressed as a girl. I have never had any bad experiences but I have had some complements about my clothes and shoes. Sometimes, sales assistants call me ‘mam’; I love it. The ones who know me call me honey. I love using the Women’s restroom when I’m out dressed as Sarah. I find that the Women’s room is always cleaner and nicer than the Men’s.

My experiences (stories) are essentially true. Sometimes, I have simplified and merged real events for literary flow but the essential events have happened to me. I have to admit that, sometimes, I have added a little wishful thinking. My experiences do not have to-be read in any particular order but I do cross-reference events between experiences.

I prefer to call my stories, ‘experiences’ since the term ‘story’ implies fiction to me. My experiences are based upon incidents that have happened to me in my real life.
