I'm sure my prolonged silence must be testing the patience of my followers (for which sincere thanks) but it's simple to explain. First, I'm 71 now and have been writing erotica since 1999. There are only so many stories in any author and it's difficult not to feel I've written all mine. Second, the loss of R.M. Dexter (see below) continues to affect me. I discussed story ideas with him, plot developments, he read my every story in draft, and not having him there means that now I'm like a ship in a rough storm without a rudder and it's hard to stay motivated. BUT... I still have two long stories to publish and have finished 'Innocence Lost' so, let's say that, by the end of May, I will proof all of these and will post them. After that possibly silence but at least I will have gone out with a bang... =) My best always, Alex
The death of a friend is always traumatic. The - unexpected - loss of a very dear friend, the author R.M. Dexter on 30 April, traumatized me to the extent that I stopped writing completely. But... Dex always supported and encouraged me in everything I did on Literotica and he would want me to continue enjoying writing/publishing my stories. Apologies for the sudden disappearance of my previous 'Alex Barton' page. One word by way of explanation: Covid. As I'm not a young man, it hit hard.
