loverly and poignant ...

a state that many of us experience as we get in touch with ourselves after an inexplicable hiatus from our own realities ...

Loved It

I liked the feeling of this poem, self searching, and almost wanting. I especially loved the title...good work!

Poignant

The feeling of wanting comes through very clearly in this poem; poignant, but not dripping in platitudes. I was slightly bothered by the use of the word "kind" twice in the first stanza; I think it's a great poem; with a little tightening it could become a fantastic poem. The fact that you've opened up and shared your soul with us deserves high marks in my book. The title is especially clever. Kudos Sophia, nicely done.
