Literotica Comics & Artwork Publishing Guidelines

This document focuses on requirements for publishing comics and artwork. If you need general publishing help, please see the Publishing FAQ. Our Content Guidelines provide a list of content we do not publish. Story and Audio guidelines are also available.

If you’re reading this, you likely have an erotic comic or adult artwork you’d like to publish on Literotica. We’d be happy to help you join the ranks of Literotica Artists. Please read the guidelines below to make sure that your work gets published as quickly and easily as possible.

To publish art on Literotica, you must certify the following stipulations to be true:

  • You’re 18 years of age or older and legally able to create, write, publish, and read, erotic material;
  • You’re the creator of the work, you own the copyright, and you grant Literotica the legal rights to publish the submitted work;
  • Your work does not contain any nonpublishable content as defined in our Content Guidelines;
  • You grant Literotica the right to use all legal means available to protect your published work from unauthorized use by other parties.

Easy Steps To Becoming A Published Literotica Artist

  1. You Must Be A Member To Publish on Literotica
    Join Literotica (it’s free) or Login if you’re already a member (see our Membership FAQ).

  2. File Formats
    Literotica accepts uploads of standard image file formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, etc.). See the Literotica Artwork Specs for more information.

  3. Content Policies
    In addition to our sitewide Content Guidelines, Artworks have the following specific policies:
    a. We do not publish nonconsent artwork or comics. All sexual activity in artworks must be between consenting adults 18 years of age or older.
    b. We do not publish artworks with excessive violence, visible blood during sexual activity, or other extreme content.

  4. Visual Age of Characters in Artwork
    We do not publish artworks of any kind where characters involved in sexual activity visually appear to be under the age of 18 years old (even if they are described as over 18 years of age). Appearance is subjective, so community feedback is a major factor in decisions regarding content moderation under this policy.

  5. Submit Your Work
