Your story was well written but the sex seemed somewhat prolonged but was certainly erotic. What concerned me about the character's was the wife's inability to be aware of the hurt her husband was experiencing (as others have pointed out) and I cannot see this long term marriage surviving. A positive, in my mind, is at least the husband didn't assist the wife in her transition into a new life style which will negatively affect her marriage.
