I read your other chapters and this is the best so far. Your writing style is definitely sharpening, but it still strays into trashy romance novel-like wording; though much less often then before. As one commenter put it so aptly, "less is more". Even with that criticism, this is a solid effort that generates some real interest and heat. You do a great job capturing the mood.
