Then her world snapped to black.

I didn't plan to stop this chapter here, I was going to keep going but I noticed how long this was getting and I didn't know how much longer I was going to be so I figured this would be a nice cliff-hanger to leave things off on cause next chapter is a bit of a tonal shift.
