It's convenient for the fantasy, but real people's personalities don't work that way.

So, yes, as a fantasy, I get it - but don't get off on it.

But as a story, it fails, because the wife is given no better explanation for her behavior than being a vehicle for the author's own fantasy.

Unfortunately the Literotica formatting has completely ruined the effect that I went to a lot of trouble to create. I intended to give the impression of a facsimile diary with the date in the left margin and the diary text indented. I also set the characters to italics to give the impression of handwriting and I most certainly didn’t want it double line spaced.

To make the format a bit different but the diary thing didn't quite work as well as it might not because of the formatting but because its tinted your usual more freely flowing style of writing.
