Well, in a way, whether true or not (see: nomatter what your argument people will just always have that doubt!) a story like this may be more effective if such a claim is omitted, or perhaps kept short and sharp... Personally I'm just saying: It usually puts me off a little bit.

A tantalising short story which bears most of Tony Dowse’s hallmarks: attention to detail, an original plot, a sexy location (which I know personally but sadly not as intimately as the lucky narrator) and the sense of drawn-out expectation. As ever with him, this is not a quick shag story. Indeed, there is very little physical sexual activity – it is almost all in the mind...and the anticipation is very arousing indeed. The link to his ‘Lucy’ story is also very appropriate and reminds me that I must read it again.
