A nice story of redeemption and hopefully romance. Nobody write these like you do. looking forward to more.
Let's see if the finish is OK. Right now I'm anticipating an ending so sweet it will probably be fattening just to read it.
another one of your stories. You are one of a handful of authors I immediately click on their stories when they appear and am never disappointed. Can't wait for the next chapter.
You write so well that it is hard to believe
that you just started out a few years ago.
I have always like the old idea that a man's home was
his castle and that you invaded it at your own risk.
The fact that your SO can stab you in the back and you have
no right to react always bothered me. I was suspected that a cheating wife would put me in jail and thought of telling the judge that society was guilty of greater crimes by allowing people their freedom without requiring respect. What would it cost the little lady to tell the guy it is over before-----
And in the case of defending Sherry from the bully I can't understand why he wasn't given a medal. He was, legally, robbed by society.
A depressing start to this story , but it picked up and cheered up at the end. If DG is writing it's got to be good before it ends.
60 year old George
This looks like a classic in the making. Can't wait for Chapter 2.
I guess that DG stands for "damn good." I really enjoy your stories.
One is pretty sure that he'll climb the mountain! Dunno if he should have gotten a medal but had the lady backed his story he sure should NOT have gone to prison for five years. Josh is now a gentleman farmer[His bank account says so]. He should be able to do very well now.
Hi Chris over here, Sir you killed it what a cool story. I feel lucky that i found out your stuff on the internet.
And I am hoping that you gave him a lot of good luck in the next chapter.
He suffered - more than one man should -
He is not unique but we all hope he ain't me!
Let's see life treat him a bit better -
It really is a very good story, looking forward to reading the rest of it!
Sounds pretty lifelike. It appears to have some extremes, but I knew a guy who had a real life situation sort of like this. Good old country farm boy ends up early in juvenile hall, and then later, a couple of years in prison. I met him while he was out on parole. We were both working at the same custom cabinet factory. He had kind of a fucked up youth like in this story. Good story. *****
Both prison sentences are way over the top. For the first he should not have got more than six months if that and the the second is over the top by at least tree years.
This is a true to life story, I really loved it. Don't give up on yourself and don't give up on anyone
I like this, I'm looking for a developing friendship in this tale, I want him to progress, life can be shit sometimes, he's had more than his fair share of that. I hope he gets more than a kiss from sherry, and doesn't end having to kowtow to her family. They don't deserve him.
This is one of those tales that I know I will revisit, thank you!

Why is it that the good guy is punished by the injustice system when he does the honorable thing?

Temper …. Yes being a outsider and being kicked in the ass is a horror movie while growing up, but becoming violent is just your own action and this is just dumb …. So no empathy for boxing your way through life ….. hopefully after the last stint some real thinking happen and now the farm will cure his being
