Good story continues

I don't believe there is any doubt that if she were to become a widow suddenly that she and Duncan could wind up blissfully happy. And if they could enjoy that for no more than ten years, that's far more than she has had in her 44 years.

I did think Duncan would come back from 'checking a few things' with something rather damaging about Gerry. Maybe nothing more than his second 'wife'.

Just one thing here, Troubador. It is very hard to think he is holding the most beautiful, and passionate, woman he has known, who has next to nothing on and whose body is telling him she wants him, and he, with a raging hardon, pushes her away. If you can do that, you're a better man than I, Gunga Din.

Naturally, I am rooting for Duncan.

Intriguing

Fascinating tale - anxiously awaiting additional chapters.

You are a master

Troubador at setting the hook and keeping us on a tight line for more. But when the bait is as good as this story, who are we to complain? Thank You. Ronnie W.

Great

As a big fan of yours, I am enjoying every word of your story. What happened, though, to the request you made to your office about a background check on the obnoxious husband? or is that in chapter 7 or 8? The way you describe Helen the husband has to be the worlds biggest idiot to fly away and leave her. The story is a little unrealistic but, as a 60 plus year old I can dream can't I? 60 year old George
