Best series ever. Stunning.

Wish it never had to end.

Probably the best series here

That was absolutely fantastic. Thanks a lot for writing this piece of art.

seppobrehn, thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to read it and thanks for taking the time to post a comment. You're one of the VERY few people who did! LOL!!

In all seriousness, I posted a thread over on the Feedback Forum asking about that very issue. So few people read, voted on and commented on this story that I'm left wondering whether the story just bored people to the point that hardly anybody even read it. Certainly almost nobody felt compelled to comment on it. It makes me wonder whether this is a result of the story itself or is this just the reality of multi chapter stories? Maybe the longer a story goes the more people tend to drop off and/or stay away, especially when each chapter is at least a few pages long, as is the case with this series.

As a relative noob here I'm curious though since none of my stories have engendered much in the way of commentary or feedback even though most of them have received decent enough scores. (The exceptions being the three request stories I've submitted, none of which were received nearly as well as my original stories. There's probably a lesson in there somewhere, which I'll probably be too stupid or stubborn to heed!) My stories seem to be an anomaly in that they receive far less feedback than most other stories with similar scores.

Dunno why that is but I'm definitely getting the message that if I want people to actually read my stories I might be better served limiting them to no more than two chapters. That kinda sucks but that's what the numbers are clearly telling me.

I don't know if the editors here read these public comments pages but if they do maybe someone might be able to shed some light on this for me? Since I can only see my own totals I'd like to find out if it's normal here to see a precipitous drop in viewership with each new chapter of a mutli chapter story?

In any case, again, thanks for reading and thanks for leaving a signed comment. I tried to send this to you personally but your "contact" link says you don't accept feedback so I just dropped it here instead.

Fantastic Series The best !!!!

Loved this whole series ...don't worry too much about the comments its the scores that count and you got a HOT rating on these which generally means that the story is considered top shelf !

Looking forward to Honeymoon with Summer whenever your ready to write it !

Thanks for a great story !

"Honeymoon With Summer"?? Bwaaahaaaa!!

Now there's an idea that cracks me up! Shouldn't it be "Honeymoon IN Summer"? :-)

Seriously, I had no plans on continuing forward with this series. I feel like I'm tip toeing perilously close to incredulity if I continue forward without this becoming a gangbang story. If I bring the three friends down to the beach house in Cozumel how on earth will this not turn into a gangbang?? Hell, even I'D want it to become a gangbang at that point, and probably not just with the three friends! There'd be all the hot local people and all the people who'd see her at the beach and in the bars and nightclubs and...

Oh yes, it'd certainly become a 24/7 gangbang! I'd wear that poor girl the fuck out! LOL!!

Summer probably would become amenable to a gangbang now that she's married. Maybe she no longer has any worries and with Jake's full blessing it becomes a "What goes on in Cozumel stays in Cozumel!" sorta deal for her?

I think my main worry though about continuing on with the honeymoon would be redundancy. How long would it be before we'd be going over the same ground over and over if all we're doing is fucking Summer? Sure, the initial gangbang scene would be hot but what then? I guess there could be a single honeymoon chapter describing the celebratory gangbang but I can't see the honeymoon story having enough legs to become another full blown series.

Dunno. Now I'm at least thinking about the possibilities of Summer on her honeymoon whereas before you mentioned it I'd already completely buried this story as "finished" in my mind. See, that's my point: Who knows what you people might come up with? THIS is why I so strongly encourage feedback and suggestions!

A+ as usual

Have to commend you again on your writing. The whole series was so well written that you were done with it before you knew it. I say that even with reservations on the subject matter. I would be way too jealous and insecure to ever be comfortable with this scenario but I so enjoyed reading the entire series. A tribute to the writing. I do agree with you about Honeymoon in Summer. It could maybe stand up as a single story but I think you would run the danger of been there, done that if you continued it. Anyway, keep up the fantastic writing. I look forward to future submissions.

Tim, what did you mean be your comment...

..."The whole series was so well written that you were done with it before you knew it." You completely lost me there. I have no idea what that means. I thought I was done when I finished this last chapter. Are you saying I was done earlier? If so then when was I done with it, and what about the ending? Didn't I need to at least do "The Gifts" before I could consider it finished?

I'm so confused! LOL!

Otherwise, yep, maybe I could add one additional "denouement" chapter to cover the honeymoon but that would have to be it. Anything more and this would have to turn into some sort of never ending "Life With Summer" journal, which would be an open ended story describing the life and times of a single woman...kind of along the lines of what Applevalyan has been doing for years now with her "Valerie" character.

I like her stories a lot; I love her "Val" character. She's absolutely one of my favorites. She makes it work by having Val branch out. Initially it was always just about Val and her exploits as she learned to become an exhibitionist. Later on Val started to include other women, teaching them how to show off. Then Val started to have sex in public, and then she began to swing, and so on and so on. All in all I like how Applevalyan pulls it off. I don't think I'd do it myself though. I don't think I want to focus nearly all my stories on the life and times of one individual woman.

Truth be told, even if I were to do a long journal covering the exploits of a single woman it would have to be about Angelina, not Summer. Angelina is the real life person whose exploits are described throughout quite a few of my stories; including some non "Angelina" stories. Problem is, she died. I can't exactly do with Angelina what Applevalyan does with "Val", not when Angelina died so young.

I guess I could do it by coming up with a new character. I'd still incorporate Angie's exploits, only under another character's name. I couldn't do it with Summer. She's already established.

Regardless...nah. I don't want to do that. My stories are inspired by single episodes ("Angelina", "Sisters" and "Christmas With Summer") or they describe people finding their way together, such as in the "Summer", "Stacey", "Susan" and "Jill" series. I like to write about different women and different types of episodes. I don't want to do a never ending journal about a single person.

Hopefully all that makes some sort of sense.

Maybe I will do a "Honeymoon With Summer" follow up chapter though. That might be fun. That'd have to be it though for that series. I feel like I'm okay right now with how I wrapped that story up and I don't want to cheapen it or lessen its emotional impact by stretching it out too far. I don't want what she does to become mundane, which is what would happen if we're reading about her doing the same things over and over with a constantly changing line up card. That's what's happened with DanandMandy's excellent "Two Weeks In Cap D'Agde" series. That story started off being hot as hell but after about the 10th chapter it became so repetitious that it's now basically lost its ability to titillate.

I really don't want to do that to Summer. To me she's one of the hottest women on the planet and I want to keep her that way. :-)

Besides, before I even consider doing the honeymoon chapter (if I even decide to do it) I'm already committed to doing another new request story for/with Jill, the woman who asked me to write my "Jill" series. This next one for Jill will definitely only be a single chapter. It won't be a series.

Anyway, thanks for reading and thanks for leaving a comment. Much appreciated.

explanation

Sorry about the confusion. I meant the reader was the you that I was referring to. The story just flowed so well that I was done with it before I knew it. Hope this helped explain.

Tim, okay, gotcha. Thanks.

Fwiw, I'm leaning more and more towards giving Summer one last huge send off. Big ol' celebration of Summer. I think I will take Anonymous in Florida's suggestion and do a final honeymoon chapter. Methinks I just love this woman too much to let go of her! Besides, that story along with the request story I'll be writing Saturday for Jill will give me an even 20 stories. Seems like a nice round number before I likely call it quits for awhile.

One last note: Despite the decent scores this series has received it remains the least viewed (by far) story I've written. It nearly begs the questions: If a good story falls in the woods and nobody ever saw it, was it worth a watery crap to write it?

The reality is that there was you and Marcus and only a scant few others who actually read it. That certainly wasn't my intent. As it turned out I pretty much wrote this story for my own amusement! That's the bad news. The good news is that if I did indeed end up writing this story for my own amusement, well, at least it worked. Summer turns me on like crazy. She's just sooooo fucking hot! LOL!!

Keep it coming

I have loved the Summer series from start to finish and I hope and pray that we will hear more about Summer and Jake in the future. It is so well written and as you've said Summer is a complete turn on, so innocent yet so hot and horny.

*sob*

Once again, a score of 100 is insufficient.

So beautiful. I love how purely joyful Summer is. She seems to enhance everything and everyone around her. Obviously she and Jake have a strong, very loving relationship, and it is also obvious how much the four guys love and respect each other. Add Summer to the four of them, and you get magic.

I see by your comments that you are worried anything else would become a gangbang. I'm not sure about that. Besides, Dave already said he isn't into sausagefests. ;)

Seriously, even if Summer takes two of the guys together, with the way they all feel about her, it could never be a gangbang.

Thank you for a beautiful, thoughtful series.

This is an amazing story so far. Very very hot and also very sweet. I'm going to be disappointed when I finish reading all the stuff you have up already and then have to wait for you to post more.

Sad it ended.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the series, but was somewhat disappointed with the ending. Anticlimactic. I expected more given the last few installments.

Fantastic series!!

I loved this entire series and couldn't keep my fingers out of my pussy the whole time:) Summer is so like me and thankfully my hubby is very much like Jake so I could easily picture myself in the story! If I could give each chapter a 10 I would but 5 is the limit:)

Thanks for a great story.

I enjoyed every last second reading your story of Summer at Christmas. Thanks for writing such an enjoyable tale.

Beautiful

I know I'd never be able to handle a girl like Summer, because I'm pretty insecure, but what a fantasy! She sounds like a little bit of Heaven (with a whole lot of temptation and sin thrown in) to me. It made me weep tears of joy at the end, with the happenings in the nightclub. I'm looking forward to reading the rest, and hopefully you will finish the final two chapters after "Summer Voodoo". Thanks so much for your lovely and extremely descriptive tales...

AnonymousAnonymousabout 5 years ago
I tried to like it

The whole scenario is just completely unbelievable. In my mind the story has to have at least a shred of credulity or its nothing more than fap material. Not much believable here. I can see jake possibly sharing her but the endless professions of love from the friendsMM and the ridiculously expensive gifts made this one hard story to read.

AnonymousAnonymousover 4 years ago
Realistic? Who cares!!

Saw a comment saying the story wasn't realistic and therefore not worth reading. Say WHAT? Are the Marvel stories and movies realistic? Obviously not, and that must explain why they're such dismal failures (not). The "Summer" stories are great fun, very sexy, and perhaps best of all, the people in them are all likeable, making you cheer for every fun moment they have. And it is all fun, with no humiliation, no degradation, no attempts at conceited or cruel domination or control. Just good, clean, SEXY FUN!!

My comment will hopefully find you many years after you wrote the series. I have to say Summer is an amazing character. She is the girl all guys really wanted, but could never get past their own insecurities to be with. Truly an awesomely well written character. I've enjoyed both series so far and I can't wait to read more. Thank you for your writing and for sharing it. Great job.
