As an avid reader of mother/son incest stories, I like character and plot development. Because the mother was a trophy wife and based on the tone and syntax of her dialog with her son, I could not tell if she actually loved him or was simply using him as a trophy.

After a while it got monotonous. The characters were okay. Could only give three stars.
