Really enjoyed this tool the post script then it just spoiled it for me, great story the test of it though.

I was afraid he was going to be blinded by Pauline's beauty and marry her even though I don't think a leopard changes it's spots. She showed him for years what her real personality was so it should not have been a surprise when she dumped him. Glad to see all the old girls back in play in a JPB story. My only problem was the quick ending. I could have used some more drama. Thanks for the effort.

Very enjoyable read, interesting characters & situations. After all these years Pauline French seems like an old friend!

Ok, I know you had fun writing this....as the story unfolded it was apparent you set out to weave as many of your old vignettes into this story as possible. Was the story had to believe? Of course not! After all, he did end up married with a child on the way....a perfect ending.

I felt the story overall was good but the ending was off character for pauline and it also glossed over a major plot hole created in the last few paragraphs about her being pregnant leading me to ask what happened with that

I did think it was neat how you put this in the same setting universe as the story "a weird one"

Pretty good but a bit long winded compared to the very abrupt ending between Pauline and Bob. I think you gave more time to Tina breaking it off with him. Besides wishing for a bit more of a fleshed out ending to the primary romance, I enjoyed it.

Well that was an awesome story, with lots of sex, lol, and even better it has an ending with a resolution, never did like stories that don't have an ending, much prefer an ending of at least an raac, a btb or sum where in the middle, lol, cheers

Only problem is that it seems, for once, you didn't properly edit it. Quite a few typos. But vintage Bob, and for once, Pauline French isn't the slutty background "I like you but..." girl (or in the one case, them heroine of the tale), but the primary love interest and not too bad of a girl.

It's an enjoyable read about a manslut who always lands on his feet, except after all that buildup, Pauline's end comes across very rushed and tacked-on.

A classic JPB story! Pauline French should easily be considered for a lifetime award as Loving Wives' sexiest female character. She's been getting it done for around 18 years and is just as hot today as she was way back when. JPB is a legend while Pauline and the Landing Strip are old friends.

After I got my first piece of pussy out of he way, which did take longer than it should have, getting into girls’ pants became easy for me, but while I had a couple make the first move unexpectedly, I sure never had a harem of them throwing themselves at me like in this story. Maybe Tom Brady has ‘em throwing themselves at him like that, but for ordinary guys? 🤣

The plot was unique but NOBODY goes a dozen time a night.

I'm reminded of the old phrase, "Don't shit where you eat." These adolescent kids are still behaving like they did in college, but they're not kids anymore. They are adults in the workplace, but they treat their workplace relationships the way they did their classmate relationships in school. They need to grow up. Interesting story about adolescent characters.

Can't really say why but, the story seems "flat". Kept looking for some depth. 3*

What just happened? I'm reading a great story, as most of yours are, and all of a sudden you plunge the reader into the twilight zone! The story characters and plot were excellent until it fell apart in the last couple paragraphs. What happened to the baby? Was it his? I can see the Sherrie part given his oscillating between women (clearly has commitment problems) and clear interest in her, but Pauline leaving and his shacking up with her quickly just doesn't mesh worth a damn. 4* for something that could have been 6*...

Hard to believe after all they been through that she would fall for some smooth talker that fast. Plus hard to think she uprooted her life and future and didn't figure out he was married.

Still one of my most favourite authors on here though. Always enjoy your stories JPB.

... just kind of weird when it is difficult to tell who is the bigger douche, the protagonist or the antagonist. For the unwashed, that would be Bob and Pauline. Both were pretty much unlikable.

This was long and I didn't like the ending, but your stories are always good reads.

One nit to pick; Pauline French in your earlier stories was about my age -- class of 1961, I always enjoy your references to Ann Arbor as I went there in 61 to start school at the U of M and many of your references to the area were nostalgic. As I was a consultant and field rep, I even stopped in at the Landing strip once or twice when I was early for a plane.

Now, assuming that Pauline is hot, the story much be from that earlier time. One boy friend was using is cell phone -- which came alone about 30 years after the time when Pauline is a Hottie. Maybe here daughter or grand daughter is a Hottie as well? If the story is in current time.

It's good to see that the master is back. However, I could only give it 4 stars because he never said what became of the baby or what the sex was. Maybe he should have left the pregnancy out altogether. I didn't think the story needed it.

It is a hard lesson but once someone lets you down it does not get harder to do it again. The sad thing is if you love them it does not mean that they love you enough to to not stab you again. It was boring. The story was basically a bunch of unlikable self absorbed characters with the MC being the worst of the lot.

I will he honest, you had my interest for about 2 pages and then I just didn't give a shit. It was basically just a here is what happened story with very little tension or conflict.

I Know this is a fiction site, JPB, normally I like your work. This it just too unbelievable. First no man fucks as much as the character you portray in this story. Except maybe Johnny Wad and he died of AIDS. The main character must be fucking Superman, able to cum, after sex, 35 times a week. Work a full time job and be a full time student. Hell future king of the New World Order. He will soon Invent the new under 2000 dollar, personal space craft with a cloaking device.

No it's not believeable, who can go 12 times in one night? No the characters are not likeable, and no Pauline French can never have a happy ending! Classic JPB. Quite a life, dancing with a bevy of different girls, dating in parallel. The switcheroo at the end was not entirely unexpected, with all these people being so dang transactional in their relationships. This magic “spark” that hits people is mysterious, kind of a deus ex machina. Sherry is older but insatiable- quite the combination, while it lasts!

What band today knows that. Kind of fits though. This story must be set 50 years ago at least.

There was not one character I wanted to see live to the end. Not one.

Your stories are basically find name, replace name, with a slight plot change. I only read them to see if you were brave enough to go outside the tired formula. Not this time.

great writing and well paced, plot was interesting but a bit too much debauchery for me. It feels like a small side town with everybody knowing and sleeping with one another and too much cheating drama.

loved Pauline's character. entitled princess, who always had people's attention, looking for a long term relationship but not really and always giving off a bad feeling. every contention she had with Bob was wrong as well. definitely a fitting ending with a sprinkle of irony too - "what's with you and married women?".

Sherrie was also a great character with a dysfunctional marriage, have a strong contrast to Pauline, looking for "revenge sex" but not really, she had good vibes from her dialogue and was someone who just lacked attention and loving. I hoped she'd end up with Bob and glad she did.

ending felt a bit rushed, could've done a small romance story between Sherrie and Bob. And a conversation between Pauline and her father with him reprimanding her about what has happened and letting her know about Bob, some regrets from her side.

But too many cheating wives and girl friends circling around Bob to be my thing, but it is good to see Harkins, and good old Pauline again. A happy ending, so far, for poor Bob.

I was reading along until it seemed that things weren't adding up, so I thought that I had missed something, so I went back and read that section again and found that if I had just kept reading it was all laid out. Sherry leaving him like that was completely out of left field and then poof, the story ended. It was a very strange way to incorporate a cheating element. All the characters were unlikable. Him ending up with Sherrie was kinda of predictable but after the fact.

Basically this was a bunch of very terrible people with a very truncated ending.
