We had to escape Fidel. We had no one and were not welcome in the U.S. and I understand why. Even the Coast Guard who picked us up and were good to us did not really want us there. We couldn't endure being alone in a city, so we found a place in the almost everglades. We fish and we hunt and Grandmother grows and preserves food. My sister, my mother and I only have each other and Grandmother. We have little, but our love is our bond and also our entertainment. We can watch one with the other and it is beautiful, never to get tired of. This story is good. It is good to be reading another story similar to our own. Ours was not as full of violence, but the logic of our family love is very close. I have come to know that love within family is not so rare in U.S. as many would say. Our togetherness works well for us and it is right. Keep writing good stories.
