She used the correct word in the opening when she said she "had" a great marriage. As in past tense. Now that she's clearly shown her husband what a complete slut she is by demeaning, degrading and humiliating him, it's time for him to get a divorce. It's because the story is written in past tense form, as is most stories. From the author's description, her marriage was still a good marriage at the end of the story. It ended with the husband saying "I love you."

Your description of Justine's feelings is quite similar to my wife's. She was a teaser when we knew each other, lots of touching while dancing, many frustrated boys/men.
