How Do I Choose My Literotica Username?

When you Sign Up For Literotica, you will be asked to select your sitewide Username, which will also be your Author Name if you plan to Publish Stories. How do you choose a perfect Literotica Username?

The first thing you should know is that your Username will be your identity within the Literotica Community. Some of our members have been active on Literotica for over twenty years, so be sure to choose a Username that can grow with you over time.

Here are a few things to consider when selecting a Username.

• Usernames may consist of letters, numbers, and the underscore character “_” only. Spaces or other special characters can’t be used in Literotica Usernames. If you want to use the name “My Username”, you would need to use “My_Username” instead. Usernames may be between 4 and 30 characters in length.
• We strongly recommend that you do not include private information about yourself in your Username (your real name, location, job, etc.), unless you’re a public figure intending to associate your Literotica account with your public persona. Please see our Protecting Your Privacy FAQ.
• You may not use domain names, email addresses, brand names, or anything else that may be considered a form of contact, spam, or commercial promotion in your Username.
• Your username must not violate any of our Terms of Service (for example, your username may not imply that you are underage, promote illegal activity, etc.)
• You may not use your Username or impersonate, harass, or troll other Literotica Members, celebrities, or anyone else on or offline.

Please take your time and select a Literotica Username that you’ll be happy to be known by for as long as you intend to remain a member of the Literotica Community.
